The
Alberta Policy Coalition for Chronic Disease Prevention (APCCP; formerly the Alberta Policy Coalition for Cancer Prevention, 2009-2011) represents a broad range of practitioners, policy-makers, researchers and community organizations who have come together to coordinate efforts, generate evidence, and advocate for policy change in order to reduce chronic disease in Alberta.
Dr. Candace Nykiforuk (PLACE Principal Investigator) is Co-Lead of APCCP. The PLACE Research Lab is a founding organizational member, with staff and students actively participating in various APCCP activities.
