NEW PUBLICATION: The Chronic Disease Prevention Survey and Support for Healthy Public Polices

The Chronic Disease Prevention (CDP) Survey was administered to members of the general public and policy influencers in 2016.  The survey measures the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs around chronic disease risk factors and related policy options.

School of Public Health PhD Candidate, Krystyna Kongats, and PhD Student, Jennifer Ann McGetrick, have recently published an article with Dr. Nykiforuk using the results of the CDP Survey. The article assesses the support of healthy public policy options to promote healthy eating at a population level.  Both the general public and policy influencers’ responses were included from two Canadian provinces, Alberta and Quebec, to allow for comparisons between the two groups and the two provinces.
